On 2nd of March, Andres Meira and Václav Kuna shared with us their knowledge and ideas on Open Earthquake Early Warning: an initiative to share and create a global community to develop better earthquake early warning systems.
Andres Meira is a founding member of OpenEEW, and Václav Kuna is a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Geophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
They shared their experiences in developing and deploying IoT-based EEW systems on social and technical aspects.
By inviting speakers from all around the world to share their newest findings and knowledge regarding earthquake early warning, we have been organising webinars, workshops or similar engagement activities for the Community-of-Practice regularly.
Stay tuned for our future webinars and Community-of-Practice engagement.
